The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ); additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file

DEPOSIT
A deposit of 25% of the total accommodation price (quoted at the time of booking) is required to secure your stay at YUKI LODGE MYOKO. Booking confirmation is complete only after you have accepted the quote, and paid the aforementioned deposit. Where group bookings apply it is the responsibility of the person whose name holds the booking to ensure that all persons traveling under that booking are aware of, understand and accept the booking terms and conditions and sign where indicated below. FINAL PAYMENT Balance of payment is due 45 days after booking confirmation or 7 days from booking confirmation should the booking fall within 45 days of tour departure. YUKI LODGE MYOKO will notify the client in advance of the date that balance of payment is due. Failure by the client to pay the outstanding balance before the due date may result in the cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit. Should full payment by the client within the above specified period be problematic, YUKI LODGE MYOKO urges the client to contact them prior to the 45 day deadline to make possible alternative arrangements. Payment of the balance may be paid earlier if desired to allow certainty of package cost and to eliminate exchange rate volatility. If paying your balance via direct debit (EFT) please notify YUKI LODGE MYOKO of your payment.
COSTS
All costs are expressed in Australian dollars (GST inclusive) and are based on costs, charges, fares, tariffs and currency exchange rates at the date of booking. In consideration of these factors, please note that costs are subject to change and YUKI LODGE MYOKO reserves the right to adjust prices at its own discretion. At the time of booking and paying a deposit, the total price is determined by the current exchange rate at the time and therefore, until the total package price is paid in full, the price is subject to change in accordance with exchange rate movements and other factors. In this regard, while YUKI LODGE MYOKO will make every effort to keep the price at the same level as quoted, should YUKI LODGE MYOKO deem it necessary, you agree that until paid in full, the total package price may be subject to change. Please note that the deposit is a holding deposit and does not lock in a final AUD price.
CANCELLATION BY GUESTS
All cancellations must be received in writing and are subject to the below fees: * Cancellation more than 60 days prior to arrival - the deposit paid is forfeited. * Cancellation between 60 days and 30 days prior to arrival - 50% of the total accommodation cost may be retained by YUKI LODGE MYOKO. * Cancellation within 30 days prior to departure - 100% of the total accommodation cost may be retained by YUKI LODGE MYOKO. Should YUKI LODGE MYOKO cancel your booking for any reason, all deposits and payments received will be refunded in full. You covenant and agree that the refund of your deposit and payments received from you by YUKI LODGE MYOKO, is the total extent of YUKI LODGE MYOKO liability to you where YUKI LODGE MYOKO has canceled the accommodation, and you agree to make no further claim for any other expense liability or damage as a result of such cancellation. WHOLE LODGE AND GROUP BOOKING The lodge must be taken on a whole lodge booking basis only (part bookings may only be accepted at the discretion of YUKI LODGE MYOKO). If for any reason part of the group cancels, the whole lodge hire booking price still applies as a minimum payment and must be paid by the remaining members of the group, unless agreed upon by YUKI LODGE MYOKO. The Property and its facilities are available for the Guest’s full enjoyment during the Rental Period. However YUKI LODGE MYOKO or other staff or contractors may need access to the Property from time to time (e.g. for maintenance purposes to the house, snow maintenance, utilities and services, or for the purposes of providing additional services requested by the Guest, etc.). The Guest is required to give them reasonable access to the Property for these purposes. The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the Property must not exceed the confirmed number of guests indicated in the booking confirmation, unless specifically authorized in writing. Entry or access to the Property may be refused or limited where the number of guests exceeds the stated requirement and payment for extra guests will be enforced. No pets or smoking are allowed anywhere on the property unless agreed in writing in advance.
