How to get to Myoko

If you're flying into Narita or Haneda airport, the most convenient way to reach us at Yuki Lodge Myoko is to take the shinkansen from Tokyo or Ueno stations to Nagano station, and then transfer to Shinano line local train to Myoko Kogen station. It's a comfortable and scenic journey that takes about 3 hours in total. Once you arrive at Myoko Kogen station, you can take a local taxi to our lodge, we offer complimentary transportation service from/to Myoko Kogen station upon the days of check-in/out (strictly not before 3pm for check-in or not after 10:30 for check-out)

Traveling around before / after stay at the lodge?

Renting a car would be the best way to get around and enjoy all the resorts Myoko has to offer. We recommend to use the companies in Joetsu Myoko / Nagano to make sure the cars are properly equipped to drive in snow. Those companies usually include 4WD and snow tires options as standard features. Once you are at either station it is typically a 40-60 mins drive to Yuki Lodge Myoko and there is free car park in front of the lodge. There is also a local option became available starting 2024-25 season. To rent cars in Japan, please note that:

Japan has a zero tolerance policy regarding drink-driving
Please remember to bring scrapers and shovels available at the lodge
